February − Eitorf Shrove Monday parade

The Shrove Monday parade is the highlight of the carnival season in the Rhineland. On this day, around 60 floats and groups on foot make their way through the centre of Eitorf.

April − “Eitorfer Frühling” spring fair

In a large marquee on the marketplace in very centre of Eitorf, the local association of self-employed tradesmen presents a major exhibition of commerce, crafts and trade. The event takes place in April every year and also includes a supporting programme and a car show in the neighbouring streets.

Antiques, bric-a-brac, a large children’s flea market and a variety of other useful goods.

June − Eitorf KneipenNacht “Spätschicht-live”

The “Late Shift” pub night features free live music in various pubs and restaurants around the Eitorf marketplace, starting at 7:30 p.m.

June − fairy tale festival

The event, based on the theme of fairy tales, is an afternoon suitable for the entire family, with puppet shows, storytellers, handicrafts and adventure and learning games on the grounds of Merten Castle residential home for the elderly.

First Sunday in July − ’Siegtal pur‘ car-free Sieg Valley

Every first Sunday in July, the L 333 rural road through the Sieg Valley is closed to motorised transport over a distance of 120 km from Siegburg to Netphen.
Along the route, musical events and numerous stands with food and drink enable participants to enjoy a rest.
Roads closed: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

July and August − Siegtal-Festival Sommer – Culture along the Sieg

Series of events staged jointly by the Siegburg, Hennef, Eitorf and Windeck Sieg Valley municipalities, with music, comedy, art and culture.

4th weekend in September − Eitorfer Kirmes fair

Largest fun fair in the Rhine-Sieg district and the Naturregion Sieg nature area, with rides, stalls and an extensive market, ending with a large firework display in the very centre of Eitorf, run by the WECO pyrotechnics factory which is based in Eitorf.
Saturday from 2 p.m. • Sunday to Tuesday from 11 a.m.

December, first advent weekend − Eitorfer Christmas Market

Local associations, groups and individual people sell their homemade Christmas gift items, biscuits, cakes and decorations on the marketplace.
Open:
Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
